Yvonne has always loved animals and took in a handful of strays throughout her childhood starting at the young age of 6. Prior to joining the team, she volunteered for Toronto Cat Rescue where she was trained to be a Foster Home Screener/Coordinator and as an Adoption Counsellor. Yvonne enjoys communicating with clients to help ensure their pet receives the care they need and deserve. She is trained to assist during surgeries, treatments and procedures.
Her current passion lies in cultivating her diet/nutritional knowledge, client communication, grooming and technical skills such as diagnostic testing, laboratory, phlebotomy, and medication administration skills. You’ll likely encounter her caring after your beloved pets during technician appointments!
She is currently in her Undergraduate studies for a double major in Biomedical Science and Psychology at York University and is working hard towards her goal of becoming a veterinarian. Outside of work and her studies, Yvonne enjoys spending time with her three JRT-mix fur babies: Koda, Trevor and Pongo.
